Selas Burners and Safety Equipment for Glass-Making Applications

 

Selas CAV Combustion Controllers are precision premix systems for blending fuel gas and air. Automatic fire checks, or flame arrestors, include a shut-off valve to prevent flashback. The Selas blowout is a directed-flow release device with a check valve. Superflame low-NOx medium and high velocity burners designed for process temperatures up to 2,500°F (1370°C).

 

Selas Burners for Secondary Glass-Finishing Applications

 

Duradiant radiant cup burners come in many forms including open-firing, semi furnace and KVA (shown here). Superheat impingement burners enhance selective open heating by releasing high heat to precise areas. Multiport P-R and PRS Spear Flame Gas/Air burners combine positive flame geometry with maximum heat release and low turndown. ERB Utility burners put energy where it is most needed in limited space applications. The Selas anti-involution burner employs a high velocity combustion method that provides uniform glass melting in fiberglass applications. Industrial air heating package burners come pre-piped and pre-wired for ovens and dryers.
